MACD is way too slow and not profitable unless you catch the big trend.

You want something much more sentitive but do not give you too many whipsaw trade.

you can take a close look at my chart, comparing with yours and then you will tell the difference of sensitivity. hehe

Thanks for your input.
BMW, MACD is not part of my filter... I just put MACD as an indicator over there...
My chart and your chart covers about the same period. You can compare the lines of mine and yours in price pane, they are about the same speed and not much whipsaws.
if you switch your chart to 1 min frequency, maybe we can have a better look

I see, I don't use those lines on the price chart to give buy/sell signals, my swing line is in panel 2. The line in panel 1 is just a common moving average which I used to indicate the trend. I assume yours is moving average too.

Again your swing line looks pretty nice to me, have you done any backtest yet?
