yes, but those corrupted officials are taking risks when they stealing money from government.  But the banking tycoons spend  legally and at will, no risk, but the same blooding money robbed from people.

绝对理智并理想化地去想这个问题呢，你的逻辑应该是正确的。

可是，在感情上很难接受这样的事情，因为总觉得自己人是不应该抢劫自己人的，而政府是不应该抢劫自己的公民的。特别是如果这个政府是大家流血牺牲推翻了旧政府才上台的话，更加难以接受这个政府剥削大众。就算没有流血牺牲，哪怕是大家用选票选出来的，还是觉得这个政府不应该抢劫民众的财富。

如果是被陌生人抢劫呢，大家可以选择跟他作斗争，如果斗争不过那就投降被抢也是没有办法的事情。也就是说，纳税人被银行家资本家抢劫，感情上比被政府抢劫较容易接受。

什么呀，差点儿上老青蛙的当。无论是被政府抢劫，还是被银行家资本家抢劫，都是不应该接受的。咱们现在要做的，不是选择被谁抢劫，而是争取不被抢劫。 虽然这个很难很难，可是社会就是在不断的斗争中，才从奴隶社会走到现在的相对文明的。

Capitalism mean?

maybe that is why people prefer capitalism to socialism.    but for all the citizens of a nation as a whole, capitalism is very costly to run.  Just like in a zero sum game, people tend to believe he/she have better chance to be on the winning side and agree to keep the game running.  But most people end up to be on the losing side for sure.

错误！这200年来资本主义创造了多少财富，人民的生活水品提高了多少？现在恐怕你每天不能洗个热水澡，就要叫苦连天了！

更甭说以前一个小小的盲肠炎，也能要了你的命！

还有，社会财富增加后，人也变的善良多了。过去弄不好人们就被钉十字架，车裂，腰斩，凌迟，木桩穿身；现在最坏的就是枪毙。

I don't think we can let capitalism itself take all the credit for the evolution of human society and increase of the productivity.  At very begining, capitalism ideal indeed provided a better environment and became the catalyst of industry revolution.  but as time goes by, I believe, we will find out that it will become the drag on the productivity and rennovations.  Maybe it IS already.

another point, you probably disagree also, is that the cycle of the economy, boom and bust.  Does it suppose to be like that by nature?  Can it be prevented?

As to the hot water bath, I don't really mind, as long as I don't know anyone who CAN take hot water bath.
