This new SEC rule won't have any impact to retail traders like us (this is my opinions based on the link that you provided on here). Also, if you read this statement carefully (The proposed rule would limit funds’ use of derivatives and require them to put risk management measures in place which would result in better investor protections), you can tell that this rule only affects those "registered investment companies" to ensure that they know what they are doing and nowhere in the article mentioning that allocating funds to 3x ETFs are forbidden or must stop. Therefore, I don't think this rule has any impact to 3x ETFs. |
