2x short ETF decays way fast than 2x long ETF, you can read  my blog.
for example,

UYG/SKF uses IYF as the base, if IYF trades at the same price after 7 months,
SKF will decay way more than UYG

Basically for 2x/3x short ETF you need perfect timing to make money.
