I hope not, too.

But in the last a few years, it seemed true. A couple of years, when the Korean Air plane crashed, a bout 3 or 4 planes (big and small private ones) had accidents in a few weeks.

The first accident makes pilots nervous in a few weeks, which causes following accidents.
