I am still quite alert for the beginning of Nov, more specifically about hedge fund situation. If the investors are finally sick and tired of losing money after seeing the HF performance in Oct, we will see another round of redemption.  Some HFs might fall then.

for today, we might see a pull-up in the end of the session. They desperately need some good numbers on the balance sheet.

they are not too bad in Oct. comparing with Sept.

the short-term loan was expensive through out the month; the normal hedge strategies didn't work for the first 2/3 of the month; the loss is really comparable to Sept.

some probably got hit by macro volatilities, but I don't think equity funds were much worse.
