OI generally controlled by option market makers. They prefer hedging rather than taking a loss.
Given that VIX is still relatively high, I'd think it has to be the far end positions were closed to control risk.

二次探底都不该太深，protection is in. Remember last Friday, I said some one bought Sept 116 and 102 put spread. The biggest block was 3200 contacts. If that is not a protection, then I don't know what is.
To become a good trader, you need to learn to be neutral. Being a bull or a bear is like first impression on a person, once you have it, it is very hard to change. When the facts change, you need to change your mind. Many bulls or bears choose to ignore the facts. When I feel I must buy a stock, and I can't afford to miss this opportunity, I rarely make money.
Tons naked put being bought. Put option OI is dropping every day.

Remember, on the FED day, after the FED mins. I post the PUT OI was jump 2x above normal, and look at the most active option contract strike and the PUT OI volume, you could see those put are being bought. (keep in mind ISE is buy to open data).
not everyone check vix, cpce. option like you do. hehe.

No idea. I only know if market drop, it won't drop like last week. Buy just in case, Like I said on last friday. Open long on May xlf call, and long Sept spy put on a ratio as hedge.
