I play GOOG option on each OE day, there is no base, it is purely g*mble.

You have to just hope it is going up or down a lot(at least $10) on the Friday.

tomorrow morning down 10 cents for QQQQ is possible. people are so bullish now. BTW, if it is flat open, in the money 40 put will not cut half in the morning. the 10 cents difference will be gone like after 11 am but not really in the open.
