I can't believe it, my conservative bond holding, real estate holding, and my speculation holding are ALL UP.

I bet tomorrow will likely to turn out to be a pivotal day. I don't know who will be right in the end: bond traders or stock traders???

Follow Cobra and read his intraday and daily summaries will be the best way to learn. I'm simply applying the ideas and methods learned from his analysis on SPY to futures and forex.

Start with a paper-trading account and do some trades with SPY while learning is certainly very helpful.

Of course, trading with real money is different and is the last step of the training, i.e. training of your psychology. You have to have an iron heart and discipline to be successful in the end.

You can try different time-framed trading methods and will find the best way that suits your life style and psychology.

It seems that reading books does help beginners. I think most HTers read Al Brooks' books ... I have his first one as well. It would be a good starting point. However, you have to trade to grasp the ideas.

You bet ... I'm closely watching NKD ... the good news is that USD/JPY made a new high, it's over 97 now.

Must be some news on the bond purchase in Japan.

ZN seems to be influenced as well ... you know the money from Japan is usually parked here in 10yr T-bills.

So NKD target met 100% and some. We are now in pullback ... let's see where it will end.

Let's see whether we have the typical pattern on a NFP day with grossly under-estimated data.
