Interesting. But this data needs to be read in combination with employment rate (the actual number of people working, not the way US calculated). For example, in Italy, if 80% does not work, the average annual hours of the working hours might be high but in general it is still a lazy and laid-back country.

But still, it is amazing to see that Germany is even worse than France.

欧洲人工作时间短，因为科技层次高，效率高，效益高。工人没日没夜干活的国家，都是因为科技层次低，出卖苦力，效率低，效益低。每卖出一只苹果手机，中国工人没日没夜干活的，只能赚到4美元，而其他国家生产重要零部件的公司，都可以赚到十几倍甚至几十倍的利润。
