The annual China Harvest Moon/Park/Poetry Celebration (8-10 pm) and Dinner Talk on the Chinese Classic, Creation of the Gods, by Lu Xi Xing, delivered by Pei-Lee Ho, Prof. Emeritus, U. of Chicago (5:30-7:30 pm) are the related Chapter events on Sat. Eve., August 16, 2008, of the
US China Peoples Friendship Association- Chicago Chapter. The Dinner
Talk is held at the House of Fortune Restaurant, 2407 S. Wentworth Ave.
starting at 5:30 pm, and the Celebration is held outside under a full moon at enchanting Ping Tom Park in Chinatown, 300 W. 19th
St., off Wentworth Ave., ¾ of a mile north of the House of Fortune
Restaurant. Each of these events is explained further in the enclosed
monthly Dragon’s Eye Chapter newsletter.
Please forward this to any person or group you think may be interested in attending either or both of these events
and feel free to offer the enclosed poster announcement for posting or
distribution at a relevant site for patrons of such site (e.g., local
library, Chinese restaurant, college, and condo or apartment complex),
