自从有了tick data,MM的一举一动都看得更清楚了

set up 很简单：support+resistance, KD, OBV (tick)

one tick represents one transaction/trade. depending on your broker, some may provide it !

IB has a 0.2 sec snapshot "tick" , Esignal, IQfeed has the best data sources for retail trader !

你觉得mb trading的tick数据完全吗？他们终于加了chart功能了。

我拿quotetracker tape the data,还可以，我拿mb试DT future, tick 没有像stock那样的spike,所以还好。 mb navigator很栏，啥都没有,没有chart,只能trade. 可以试试tradestation, commission fee ,plateform 都很好。好像还提供6个月tick backfill, 可以test 自己的strategy.

SO, MB trading provides Esiginal to all accounts? can you download tick data?

MB just provides tick data,

 

Esignal is a professional data provider !

Can you give the official claim from MB itself that MB trading provide ture real time tick, I remember someone told me that MBtrading similar to IB, maybe I mixed things up... I purchased CME historical data before to study and found true real time tick data can have a really big advantage over the snapshot tick from IB... Since I have IB's account, I have been trying to make it more useful for high frequency trading, so far with a small backtesting data history, it has shown some promising results... If it can stablize over time, I will live with IB's data, otherwise, I will consider either esignal or MB trading...

1) MB + Quote Tracker => get tick-by-tick data (tap reading, no backfill)

2) esignal or Iqfeed + Quote Tracker => get tick-by-tick (backfill??)

 

3) tradestation => testing ur strategy and 6month tick data back fill
