SPX会有一个MINI NEW YEAR RALLY，低量涨到一月五／六号，也就是大MM度假回来的时候，很有可能破DEC高点919，上冲940～950。然后掉头南下，在OBAMA INAUGUTATION （1/20/2009）左右回到低点，最低不会刺穿820。然后会在OBAMA新出台的伟哥刺激下，一路坚挺北上，会在二月底或三月初上探1050，到达WAVE ４的顶点。然后就太监了，WAVE ５会让熊熊们相聚在500。

SPX mostly likely will break Dec's high today. Definitely take some profit off the table if SPX does reach 940 cluster area either today or Monday.

950 is not gonna happen today. Market might turn south for a week or two starting today. But the overall market trend is still up until late Feb. SPX 1050 (cluster area) is the target, which is the high of 2009.

So far so good. While the daily full stochastics are near a top, the weekly and monthly are still looking good. That means this pullback is just a part of down subwave of this wave B up (target of 1050). As I mentioned in my first post, this pullback shouldn't last more than 2 weeks.

The jobless claim dropped unexpectedly. This might give bulls some ammo to push markets higher today. But this pullback is going to last more than just a day or two. Like what Cobra laoda said in his daily market commentary, sell into strength if markets go up today. For me, I am still firmly holding my short positions. BTW, for those of you who are interested in wave counting, I believe wave 3 down is finished on Nov 20 and currently we are in middle of wave 4 up.

So far so excellent. Will see whether we have a down week next week. Any football prediction? I am going to put a few hundred bucks on: Eagles win by 1-6 points (spread is 4.5) Panthers win by 7-12 points (spread 5) Steelers win by 1-6 points (4.5) Ravens win by 1-6 ($4.5) If I get one right, break even. If I get 2 right, double my money.

Markets can be as irrational as you can imagine in a short period of time. And they don't go down in a straight line. That's why I said after the rebound SPX will tank to 500 some time this year.

I will go with Eagles (my heart says Eagles but my head says Giants), Panthers, Steelers, and Titans. And I agree with you that all games should be close except Panthers/Cardinals. And don't forget tonight's game. I will go with Gators. I think all the teams without loss or one-loss should have a playoff. Just look at Utah, an exceptional team who didn't even get a chance.
