The longest government shut down was 21 days when Clinton was in power. It's no big deal to the stock market too.

So according to the shut down history I posted, Monday might be gap down but then up and up and up? The market is very overbought now so hard to say up and up and up part but I don't expect big down.

问题是目前研究股市的方法就是指望history repeats itself，按你的说法，股市都不用分析了，反正past没有用。History在一定程度上是会repeat的，因此past是有一定的参考价值的，正因为history不总是完全重复，所以股市分析才不是总对，否则炒股也太容易了。
