Thousands gather at the Plaza de Mayo square in Buenos Aires on March 24, to commemorate the 42nd anniversary of the 1976 military coup in Argentina. About 30,000 people went missing after being arrested during the right-wing military regime that ruled Argentina from 1976 to 1983, according to Human Rights organizations. Many of those abducted were accused of being leftist sympathizers or deemed subversive by the regime.

LEMESANY, SLOVAKIA
People install world's largest Easter egg on March 24, in Lemesany, Slovakia. Local architect, Jozef Kuruc is the creator of the five-meter tall Easter egg, that has been put on display on the 24th March 2018 in the village of Lemesany, Slovakia. The middle-aged architect came up with the idea when he created a tiny, some 50 centimeter tall egg in 2015. The building process of the new, 5.08 meter tall, 3.08 meter wide and nearly 800 kg giant Easter egg lasted for over a year. The body and the shell of the piece is carved out of layers of polyesteryne foam, the outer layer is made out of chicken wire and plaster. The giant egg is fixed onto a metal frame, that also played a key role with it's transportation from the workshop to the village's main square. "I am very proud of this awesome egg. It took lots of time and effort to complete it, but it was worth it. This is the fourth time that we've transported the egg with a tractor.
