if he just shorts AMZN/BBY or other individual stocks, I think it is fine.

As long as you do not buy much PUT or 2x/3x short ETF, even if you shorted at 880,  Your lose may still be less than 10%.

10% really means nothing in this market.

buctusa Lao da, I would take note of the trend of euro/jpy, it usually leads the trend of stock markets; looks like Euro wanted to go higher; T-notes should go down and long term interest rates should go up later this year, but not yet now .... keeping an eye on it ....
