He had been pretty good up until Mar. 2009. He was really good last Oct., not just good, but amazingly good. That's how he gathered a huge following then. But the last few months he has been on the wrong side of the market. In general, he is very good at calling bottoms, but not tops. But then again, it seems lots of people have called the tops wrong this time.

I think he was just super lucky to get the calls on those lows.  Because the violent volatility covered up his mistakes.  Now the volatility is gone, and holes in his system showed up in the bright daylight. It is not pretty at all.

Now the volatility is gone, it is hard for everyone to earn big money.

If you look from SPX 87x(3 weeks ago) to now, not many individual stocks up more than 15%. At least in my list I do do not see much. The best performer I see is ISRG from 140s to 235 in 4 weeks.

But from SPX 666 to SPX 840, from 840 to 940, many stocks doubled during each period.
