I don't disagree about "喜乐的心是良药". However, it has nothing to do with Dr. Vesely's research and the heart hormones.

Please read a little bit careful about the fact before getting conclusions.

可以理解你的观点和情绪，如果一个牧师的话不是100%事实，那的确很让人失望。
这个牧师的信息来源不知是哪里，如果和一些事实有出入恐怕也不是他所愿。

今天同同事聊到此事，同事的妈妈有个好朋友，因得癌症，大夫说只有半年的时间，结果老人听人建议，旅游了半年，回来就死了。

2) pre-determined time, when you were born, when you will die is predetermined

我以为，栽种和收割都是按照作物本身的生长规律和季节来的。而季节的形成是因为地球的特殊的偏角以及围绕太阳的自转和公转。这样的一个精准的季节的SETUP，以及植物的生长规律不是哪个栽种和收割作物的人类本身可以左右的。同样的，一个人的出生和死亡也不是自己可以控制的。因为，生长的终要生长，出生的终要出生，死亡的终要死亡。这里，《圣经》正在启示的一个真理是，每个事物的起点和终点在上帝的手中。

一个病人死掉，另一个痊愈本身就不是人可以控制的。倘若让那个没有去旅游的病人一起去旅游，并不能保证他也会象那对夫妇那样恢复健康。

至于LZ的文章报道，本人觉得各位看官大可不必和基督信仰连起来。《 揭開上帝終極底牌》题目本身有哗众取宠之嫌。人若是能揭開上帝終極底牌，那么，那个人就是“神”了。。。

所以《圣经》里的十戒中有一条就是：“不可杀人”！

是罪的话，绝对不能被接受。所以上帝说：“萬 不 以 有 罪 的 為 無 罪”（民 數 記 14:18）

《圣经》里也记载许多的事发生，包括几十万人的被杀死、耶稣被钉十字架等。当时发生的事情，可能错都不在死亡的人身上，比如耶稣被钉十字架（耶稣并没有罪）。如果不是上帝自己启示耶稣被钉十字架是神的救赎计划，那么很多事我们今天都不明白为什么会发生。

但是这些事情/例子的发生，不代表上帝赞同的。《圣经》的真理原则之一就是“不可杀人”，所以，一定要分清楚原则和例子。现在回到你的问题：“每个事物的起点和终点在上帝的手中。”？是的，《圣经》中是这样的启示的。基督徒也是这样认为的。这和“生有时， 死有时”也是相对应的。。。
