下午在办公室没法打中文，可能大家看不习惯。下面用中文简单说一下，具体的证据可以看英文资料。我只提供可被证明的事实，背后的东西大家可以自己考虑。

总的来说，刘晓波当年被重判的原因不是他东抄抄、西抄抄出来的文章，而是因为他接受境外捐款，这在判决书的第一第二条写的很清楚，可能大家都没仔细读过。

刘晓波是一个叫独立中文笔会的组织的主席，这个组织接受NED每年十几万到几十万的捐款，同时NED对刘晓波个人还有捐款，当然是以稿费的名义。是的，以稿费的名义。NED搞颠覆政府那么多年了，当然不会傻到去损害自己的棋子的利益。

而NED是什么呢？这是美国国务院指导下的一个专门策反颠覆外国政府的组织。达赖喇嘛，疆独、还有世界各地有战争的地方，基本上都有NED捐款的痕迹。

有人或许会问，中共为什么不大力宣扬刘晓波被重判的原因是叛国？原因很简单，中共不想国民知道可以从NED拿钱出卖政府，也不想把刘晓波这堆烂事儿弄得很高调。

Liu started copy+pasting articles 20+ years ago, but he got sentenced
now because he has been receiving money from NED. Check what NED does (not
from their own website, read comments.) Basically it's a secret agancy of U.S
government to promote "revolution" in other countries and help overthrow other countries' government.

He is a "hero", because he chose to stay in China? Well it is obvious his
investment is worth something. But would a hero of Chinese poeple receive
money/funding from NED? I know I wouldn't call this person a hero. He
receives money, and he did his job---basically, copying+pasting articles to
embarrass CCP.

这个要法院说了算，说你是你就是，不是也是，说不是就不是，是也不是。
法院肯定有证据，没证据不会判，理由是刘不是那么干净，美国更不干净。
认为他纯粹是为了中国的民主事业，那是比较幼稚的看法。

At least the evidence is linked to NED, an entity set up by CIA.  Your idea is clever, if CIA funnels their funds through natural research funds, it will be much more difficult to trace it back to notorious CIA/FBI.  Actually the original purpose of setting up NED (National Endowment for Democracy - a very nice name) is the same - setting up another layer and make it harder to trace it back to CIA.  But eventually it is a public secret that NED is CIA and NED becomes notorious itself.  It is really urgent for CIA to set up another entity.  Wall Street firms are very good at this kind of things - setting up hundreds of SPEs to hide off-balance sheet transactions.  I am always puzzled why CIA has not yet done what you proposed.  Maybe they are really stupid and bureaucratic like what the Hollywood movies portraited.
