[灌水聊天] U4GM Arknights Endfield Guide Team Vs Factory

Ngl, if your damage suddenly falls off in Endfield, I'd bet your factory is trolling you before your squad is. I learned that the hard way after pushing mid-game and, yeah, while I was comparing setups and even browsing Arknights endfield accounts to see how other progressed rosters looked, the big difference wasn't even unit rarity most of the time. It was who had their AIC actually feeding upgrades on time. People keep treating combat and base like separate modes, but they're basically the same build spread across two screens.

What people keep doing wrong
Look, the meta chatter is way too focused on four-person comps and not enough on throughput. I know everyone wants to talk Main DPS, Sub-DPS, SP Battery, Sustain. And yeah, those roles matter. I've been running that standard shell too, with Electric setups feeling especially cracked when SP gain stays high. But if your refineries are only pushing 8 items per minute into a line that needs 10, your ascensions stall, your gear stalls, and then your “bad combat luck” is just self-inflicted. Most guides recommend building wide early, and imo that's bait. If your power grid can't hold it, half your machines just sit there looking busy.

What actually fixed my runs
So I tested a cleaner base layout and it slapped way harder than swapping operators. I split mining, refining, and assembly into separate blocks, then dropped storage between them as a buffer. Not fancy. Just readable. The logistics overlay made the whole problem obvious once I stopped ignoring it. Conveyor backups on one side, idle plants on the other. Classic. After I cleaned ratios up, I stopped having those annoying resource droughts right when I needed weapon mats. And because the AIC keeps running offline, small fixes snowball way more than squeezing out one extra reaction proc in combat.

And combat still matters, just not how people think
Honestly, synergy beats raw rarity right now. I saw a lot of people saying lower-rarity batteries are dead weight, but that hasn't matched my runs at all. If a cheap unit keeps SP rolling and lets your enabler apply Heat, Cryo, or Electric on schedule, that's better than forcing a flashy pull that doesn't fit the rotation. I've noticed Cryo teams feel nasty when they can stack control and open burst windows, while Electric gets dumb fast near water since the terrain boosts it. Haven't tested every biome interaction yet, so take that with a grain of salt, but Talos-II definitely has spots where the map feels like a fifth team member. Also, overclocking and drones are nice for emergency crafting, but don't spam them unless your power is stable or you'll brick the whole line.

Here's the take
But yeah, my honest take is that Endfield's real progression check isn't your banner luck, it's whether you can stop making a spaghetti factory. If you're stuck, don't just reshuffle your DPS slot for the tenth time. Check your IPM, check your power, check where materials are dying. I've been using U4GM here and there for game stuff when I want to compare pacing or fill a gap, but even then, a messy base still feels mid. Curious what everyone else thinks? If your AIC layout on Talos-II keeps choking on one conveyor lane, fix the flow before adding more factories; that bottleneck slows gear upgrades way more than bad RNG. When I need a cleaner account start, I've used U4GM at https://www.u4gm.com/arknights-endfield/accounts so I can focus on Electric team rotations instead of pure grind.
