Following Oracle’s (ORCL) fiscal Q4 report this evening, in which the company exceeded estimates slightly, management told analysts on a conference call to expect fiscal Q1 adjusted EPS of 45 cents to 48 cents per share, which is roughly in line with the consensus 46-cent estimate.
Revenue is expected to rise 9% to 12%, which would equate to roughly $8.27 billion to $8.5 billion. That is ahead of analysts’ $8.28 billion estimate.
Hardware revenue is expected to continue to decline to be volatile this quarter, with a projected range for hardware product revenue to fall 5% or rise 5% from the year-earlier level, the company said.
New software license revenue is expected to rise 10% to 20% in Q1
