merrill edge 真不好用。

前些天开了个账户， 因为是和我的BOA连着， 还有30个FREE trade/每月。 结果损失好大。

一个是我在37左右卖了AFSI， 准备在35买回来， 几次下单都不让我买， 说需要一个SAFE PASS。 结果等到SAFE PASS寄到， activate的instruction是错的。等figture out,  ASFI 已经黄尘一骑妃子笑了。

UI 也不好用。 真是便宜没好货呀。。怎么做出这么脑残的UI那。

是的。 这个网站的注册时啥都不问， 但你一买股票， 就啥问题都出来了。 我做extended HOUR trading时还调出来一个agreemenT临时让我钱。 晕。。脑残呀脑残。 我怎么就脑子进水换到这了那。

我觉得merrill edge 很好。free trade。界面是差了点，客服也不咋地，不过以前我一年手续费上万，现在不到100块，赚钱也不少，还要求啥？

有了merrill，我交易次数明显下降，其实交易越多越亏。你说的问题都是正常的，稍微有点耐心就好了。

我还推荐wells fargo trade，也是一年100个free trade。我开了4个wells fargo trade账户，外加4个merrill edge账户，你算算我一年省多少手续费。

我以前用ib和tdameritrade，是不错，可是进进出出全交手续费了，泥马前年我ib交了6000多手续费，一怒之下就改merrill了，用了两年，赞。前提是不要出事，merrill的客服有点烂。

而且merrill有些其他大大小小的毛病，你如果不能忍就算了。我为了每年1万的手续费，忍了。

大户呀大户。 我其实一个月也就做5个左右的trade。 所以没神多少。

Merrill's filled my order at higher price than those from TD or IB. I cathed the screen and argued with them, but no use.

Most of time, the cost difference is bigger than commision. So there is no free lunch!

我有boa,每个帐户一个月有30个free trade, 还不错。去年开了ib，感觉很好，一百股两刀多一点进出。
以前用过TD，现在帐户还在，不再active了，因为太贵，进出一次快二十刀。等于天天请别人吃lunch.

现在用ib, mm天天请我吃饭，终于毕业了。

Merrill Edge is not that bad, they don't sell customer trade order to High Frequency Traders.
I got used to the UI so I think it is fine. The free trade reduces a lot of frictional cost.

the thing I really do't like then is: they shouldn't wait until the trade happens to tell me I need to sign some agreement or open some safe pass,they should have told me up front, so when I need to trade, I can just trade. they did same thing to me at least 3 times. I cannot buy stock when I want to buy!!!

Yea, it is a pain in the ass for first time. They require a safe pass for trading OTC and Pink Sheet stocks. I have a safe pass too, just put it in your wallet. once you get it, you can trade whatever stock you want.

This is the key point, don't use it.
