Will CME benefit from the swap trading policy change?

I know what you are thinking... But I don't which exchange facility will be helding the so called 'CDS' trading program. But I guess CME will be less favourale than CBOE which is trading more financial futures/options than the others.
More wilder idea, this exchange might be a newly established Electronical Crossing Network, a virtual exchange facility for the existing big OTC CDS players to do trading with each other. As said, 肥水不流外人田, by doing so, those JPM, GS can still keep quite a big slice of the whole CDS pie, plus there could be potential volume increase just because of CDS is a public trading vehicle than before, and this could make a lot of trading fee/brokerage fee than old OTC way (and with much less risk). so as said, 'Wall St. always wins'.
Damn it ! I hate today's reality of financial world. |
