Liu's 08 statement is another YY.  YY is okay and it is stupid for TG to jail him but YY does not resolve any problems.  Liu has little grass root support.  His extreme right views plus those infamous "colonized for at least 300 years" make him more like doing real life shows rather than fighting for a right direction for China.  China's political future will be more like Japan -- still one party dominance but the different divisions within the party will represent different voices of the society.
